Madison Rose

Though she counts her influences as everyone from Van Halen and The Beatles to Katy Perry, 19-year-old singer/songwriter dynamo Madison Rose channels her inner Joan Jett when—in dishing on her explosive debut album Aftershock—she boldly declares to the world “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll!”

“I truly feel that it picked me,” she says. “I didn’t just decide one day ‘Hey, I’m gonna sing rock music.’ The music just spoke to me loud and clear, and I listened. My writing and my personal style just evolved from there, now I eat, drink, breath, live Rock and Roll!”

A native of Denver, Colorado who now calls Los Angeles her home, Madison has pursued her love of music as a career since the ripe old age of 14. Joined by her older brother on lead guitar and parents at the wheel, she traveled around the country writing, and performing her songs on any stage that had a mic stand, all while attending high school and maintaining her honor roll status.

Madison Rose's performances in venues such as The Hard Rock Cafe, Whisky-A-Go-Go, The Key Club, Gibson Showroom just to name a few, caught the attention of Music Connection Magazine who named Rose one of the Hot 100 Live Unsigned Artists & Bands. And they're not the only ones sitting up and listening to Madison Rose:
She is the new face of Samson Wireless Microphones in the company's nationwide ad campaign; she was a featured performer at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) 2012 Show in Anaheim, California; and "Teenage Runaway" her first single was nominated for Best Pop Song of the Year by the Hollywood Music and Media Awards (HMMAs).

Madison Rose’s sound has a classic rock feel with it’s driving guitar solos, fused with Madison’s pop influences to create songs that have melody, power, raw emotions crank the stereo up, pure Rock and Roll fun. Madison says, “I want to take my audience on a journey and make them feel alive!"

Madison’s not rocking and rumbling alone. On tracks like the blistering lead single “Kissin’ In Your Cadillac” and the heavy duty emotional “Teenage Runaway,” she’s vibing with her multi-talented brother and musical partner in rock Justyn, dubbed “Justyn the Stuntman” for the many hats he dons (songwriter, bassist, guitarist, mentor) as he helps his sister hone in on her powerful sound.

“Any biography ever written on me would not be complete unless it included a few hundred chapters on Justyn,” she says. “It’s hard to put into words what a huge influence he's been on who I am as a person. My brother and I are two halves of a whole, inseparable on our journey through life. He is my best friend…someone to laugh with, cry with, dream with, create music with and so much more.”

My true goal is to inspire people with my music. Music is art, and just as when two people look at the same painting and see completely different things, when each individual listens to music they hear their own meaning to the songs, and feel their own unique experience.  If my music makes people happy, exhilarated, excited, reflective, melancholy, empowered, or makes them feel an emotional connection to the song then as a songwriter I have reached the pinnacle of success.
